Introducing our 2026 College Captains

26 November 2025

We are excited to announce the newly elected 2026 College Captains, Halimah Sheikh (Girls) and Ahmed Ismail (Boys), alongside their Vice-Captains, Hadia Rashid (Girls) and Hashim Khan (Boys), to the 91勛圖厙 community.

Introducing our 2026 College Captains

Each of these students has shown exceptional leadership qualities and a strong sense of responsibility. They have been selected not only for their accomplishments but also for their character, compassion, and consistent contribution to school life.

And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and when they were certain of Our signs. - Quran 32:24

This verse reminds us that leadership is grounded in patience, sincerity and trust in Allah. We pray that our new leaders uphold these values in their service to the College. May Allah guide them, strengthen them, and grant them success in their leadership journey. Ameen.

As they step into their new roles, our 2026 Captains and Vice-Captains will embody this philosophy by supporting student voice, promoting school values and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our 2025 College Captains Aaliyah Farah, Amaar Hamida, Nusayr Sultan and Farhan Abid for their efforts and involvement during their time in leadership. We wish them every success in their future endeavours.

We congratulate our 2026 College Leaders and look forward to the positive contributions they will make throughout the coming year. Please join us in congratulating our 2026 College Captain and Vice-Captain.

    Boys College Captain 2026

As the Boys College Captain of 91勛圖厙, I am honoured to serve our school community and uphold the values that define us as a vibrant Islamic learning environment. Having been part of 91勛圖厙 since kindergarten, I have grown alongside the school and feel deeply connected to its mission of nurturing students academically, spiritually, and personally.

Throughout my years at 91勛圖厙, I have engaged in a range of school activities and community service initiatives. In everything I do, I strive to embody the principles of our faith: respect, compassion, service, and the pursuit of knowledge. My leadership style is democratic and inclusive, as I believe in listening to the voices of my peers, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that every student feels valued, heard, and supported.

    Leadership Vision and Goals:

In Islam, leadership is seen as a sacred trust (Amanah), not a privilege. With this understanding, I am committed to serving our school community with humility, responsibility, and accountability. Leaders are expected to uphold moral and ethical principles, demonstrate competence and diligence, and be positive role models by following the example of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). I will do my utmost to live up to these expectations in my role as College Captain.

Allah reminds us in the Quran: The believers are but one brotherhood, so make peace between your brothers. And be mindful of Allah so you may be shown mercy. - Surah Al-Hujurat (49:10)

Guided by this verse, I aim to contribute to a learning environment rooted in unity, respect, and compassion. My vision is to help foster a strong sense of brotherhood and belonging among students. I hope to expand student leadership opportunities, encourage participation in religious, academic, and extracurricular activities, and promote initiatives that reflect our Islamic identity and values.

I look forward to leading with sincerity and commitment, encouraging my fellow students to strive for excellence and embrace the best versions of themselves, always guided by the teachings of Islam.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts. - Winston Churchill
