We welcome students from all cultural backgrounds, aiming to instill and nurture a deep love and devotion for our religion of Islam. We aim to create a sense of desire within students to learn and appreciate the virtues of religious activities.
At 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, students progress from the learning to read stage (Iqra stage) to the advanced reading stage (Qur'an stage) where they are systematically taken through the guided reading of the Quran. This process is generally completed by the end of Junior School (Year 6).
The Ê¿Ilm Program at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø is a seven-year intensive course that provides 91³Ô¹ÏÍø students an opportunity to study the traditional Islamic sciences at an advanced level and graduate as Islamic scholars. The Ê¿Ilm studies take place along with mainstream education, during the school day as well as out of school hours.
At 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, prayer is an integral part of the daily routine, fostering a strong connection to Allah and cultivating a sense of community among students.
Throughout the year, the Religion Department holds specials events to mark or celebrate events from the Islamic calendar.
